Promotional graphic for "Cosmic Nights" at the San Bernardino County Museum, featuring a textured, cratered planetary surface on the left and star-filled black space on the right. Event details read: “Our story written in the stars. COSMIC NIGHTS – An evening of quiet discovery, where the stars brighten our view and gently remind us we’re part of a larger story.” Dates listed are January 24, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Our story is written in the stars.

Join us for Cosmic Nights, an evening of quiet discovery where the night sky becomes a gateway to wonder. As the stars brighten our view, we are gently reminded that we are part of a much larger story—one shaped by deep time, curiosity, and our enduring relationship with the universe.

This special evening program is presented in partnership with the San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers (SBVAA), whose members will guide guests in observing celestial objects and sharing their knowledge of the night sky. Founded in 1958, SBVAA is dedicated to introducing the community to astronomy, supporting amateur astronomers in the San Bernardino Valley area, and fostering excitement and lifelong learning about the cosmos.

Cosmic Nights takes place outdoors, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Museum galleries will remain open throughout the evening, offering opportunities for both stargazing and indoor exploration.

Admission:
• $10 adults
• $8 military or seniors
• $7 students
• $5 children ages 6–12
• Free for children five and under
• Museum Foundation members receive 50% off admission

Parking is free, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.

Step outside, look up, and reconnect with the vast story written above us—one star at a time.
