Visitor Information

As the largest county by geography in the country, the museum features exhibits and programs highlighting the history, art, anthropology, archaeology, biology, geology and paleontology unique to this Inland Southern California region.

Visit the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands, California, midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and just north of Interstate 10. Take the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands, turn north, then right onto Orange Tree Lane and left into the Museum parking lot.

Visitors will find exhibits dedicated to the Inland Empire region, also depicting life in the town of Redlands and other surrounding areas. Our collections and exhibits continue to expand as families, schools, and service organizations donate artifacts.

Open Tuesdays through Sundays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed all County holidays: New Year’s, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We are closed on Easter Sunday even though it is not a County holiday.
