Cue the confetti cannons! A huge thank you to the readers of Inland Empire Magazine for naming the San Bernardino County Museum (SBCM) as “Best Museum” in the Inland Empire! We are honored to serve the community and so grateful for the nomination.
SBCM is the place to experience the fascinating history, culture and natural history of the Inland Empire! Visitors are encouraged to imagine, share, create, discover and explore fascinating permanent and changing exhibits to connect with our region’s natural and cultural history. There’s something for guests of every age and something new to discover with every visit!
SBCM is located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane, at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $10 (adult), $8 (military or senior), $7 (student), and $5 (children ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are admitted free. Museum Foundation members receive a 50% discount. Parking is free and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
In addition to SBCM, other county-operated facilities that were featured in the Inland Empire Magazine’s 2024 Best of the IE issue include Planes of Fame Air Museum at Chino Airport, Flo’s Airport Café at Chino Airport, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton and Calico Ghost Town in Yermo.
