In honor of National Quilting Month, Victor Valley Museum (VVM) has partnered with Quilters Piece Corps and is excited to invite the community to explore the intricate art of quilting through unique quilting demonstrations and hands-on activities. This special event, taking place on Saturday, March 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will showcase the creativity and craftsmanship behind quilting, offering both hands-on experiences and professional insights into this beloved craft.

A live demonstration by expert quilters will also be held, offering visitors an in-depth look at traditional and contemporary quilting techniques. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, observe the quilting process up close, and even get inspired to try their hand at creating their own fabric quilts in the future.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to appreciate the artistry and heritage of quilting,” said Curator of Visitor Engagement Tiffany Talavera. “Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or a beginner, our workshop and demonstration are designed to inspire creativity and provide a fun, educational experience for everyone.”

No prior quilting experience is required to participate. Materials for the paper quilting workshop will be included in regular museum admission.
