Tiffany Talavera
Curator of Visitor Engagement
As a native of San Bernardino County, Tiffany is a proud CSUSB Coyote alumni where she received her B.A. in Art History. She got her start in museums at the Robert and Francis Fullerton Museum of Art doing education and visitor engagement. There she learned fundamental museum principles and developed a love for Egyptian antiquities. She then went to Edinburgh, Scotland to complete graduate school where she earned her M.S. in Art History with an emphasis in curating and critique.
Talavera has a passion for Scottish and Irish art and after 3 years abroad, she came home and began working at the J. Paul Getty Museums in Los Angeles County. She was with the Getty for 7.5 years and has been working in museums for 18 years. She also serves on the RAFFMA Arts Professional Board, enjoys baking, along with art and crafts.
