According to Curator of History, Jennifer Dickerson, “The Old Spanish Trail was a significant route for traders and travelers going between New Mexico and Los Angeles in the mid-1800s. Agua Mansa was a significant site along that route and, today, Agua Mansa Pioneer Cemetery reminds us of those brave individuals who created the first non-native settlements in the San Bernardino Valley over 175 years ago.”

The event will take place outdoors, and guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The cemetery is located at 2001 Agua Mansa Road in Colton.

The San Bernardino County Museum’s exhibits of regional, cultural and natural history and the Museum’s other exciting events and programs reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.
