The San Bernardino County Museum is pleased to announce the appointment of David Myers to the position of Museum Director. David has been doing an excellent job as the Interim Museum Director over the past few of months.
David began his career with San Bernardino County in September 2016 when he was hired as a Museum Curator. He then promoted to Chief Deputy in June 2020 and began assisting with Director duties in March 2022.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a master’s degree in Public History. During his years with the Museum, David has received an Award of Excellence, has overseen, and participated in the development of multiple National Association of Counties (NACo) award winning exhibits and programs, and developed new exhibit spaces including the Hall of Biodiversity, Hall of Minerals, Garden Spaces, and Ethnobotany Garden.
