Gabrielle Carpentier

Assistant Curator

Gabrielle came to San Bernardino County Museum (SBCM) as an intern in 2022 work on a federally funded NAGPRA project. She became a Public Service Employee with the museum (2023) before becoming a curatorial assistant (2024). Under the direction of the Chief Deputy, Gabrielle manages volunteer projects and assists in the collections management and programs for all five disciplines at SBCM. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied Archaeology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from California State University San Bernardino. Her passion for museums is driven by her dedication to proper collection management that align with her values, namely tribal collaboration and consultation.
