Long days begin with curiosity.
In June, STEAM Summer at the San Bernardino County Museum invites families to explore through play, experimentation, and a little bit of mess. This is a month for testing ideas, trying new things, and discovering how the world works—one hands-on activity at a time.
Each Saturday from 10–3 p.m., children can dive into playful experiences that bubble, launch, and spin:
Activities take place across the STEAM Lab, outdoor classroom, and museum galleries, creating space to move, explore, and engage from one moment to the next.
STEAM Lab Entry:
Timed wristbands are required for STEAM Lab access and are available daily throughout the summer (June–August). Each wristband allows for a 30-minute session, helping ensure a comfortable and engaging experience for all visitors.
This month is about freedom—of movement, of thought, and of play. It’s a chance for children to follow their curiosity and for families to rediscover the joy of simple exploration.
