In April, join Gloria from Sprout and Blossom in the STEAM Outdoor Classroom for a hands-on exploration of plants through the lens of the Blue Team and Green Team. Young learners and their families will discover how plants work together in ecosystems—above and below the soil—and how water, sunlight, and living systems stay in balance.
A Hands-On Nature Program for Curious Young Learners
STEAM Outdoors invites children and families to step outside and explore the living world through hands-on learning and creative discovery. SBCM is excited to partner with Sprout and Blossom for this monthly program that connects science, nature, and art through lessons on gardening, food systems, insects, and the beauty of the natural world. Each session encourages curiosity, care for the Earth, and an understanding of how people and nature are deeply connected—an essential chapter in the story of us.
STEAM Outdoors takes place once each month and is offered in two sessions:
Participation is free with general museum admission. Space is limited to 20 children per session and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
