Join us for an African Textile Stamping workshop hosted by Theresa Polley-Shellcroft and T. Faye Griffin inspired by Deborah McDuff William’s exhibit, ‘Stolen Identities: River Routes to Freedom.’ Two workshops available: 11am-12:15pm & 12:30-2pm. Learn about the images in Sankofa, an expression of Twi language from Ghana. Understand about the artistry of using Ghana Adinkra symbols to create your own message of inspiration and hope. Both sessions will cover fabric and paper stamping. Materials and aprons will be provided.
