Casey Lee, Ph.D.

Curator of Art and Exhibits

Casey Lee is Curator of Art and Exhibits at the San Bernardino County Museum (SBCM). She oversees the art collection and is excited to collaborate with her fellow curators and community in developing a vibrant exhibition program. Raised in the Inland Empire, she earned her BA in Art History/Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside and her doctorate in art history from Queen’s University, Kingston, with a dissertation on the collecting practices of seventeenth-century Dutch artists. Following positions held at the California Museum of Photography, the Norton Simon Museum, and the J. Paul Getty Museum, she is thrilled to be returning to the institution that sparked her love of museums.
