Second Saturday: Have a Heart—Acts of Kindness

February invites us to slow down, reflect, and consider how small gestures can carry deep meaning.

For this month’s Second Saturday, children will take part in a heart-centered art activity focused on Acts of Kindness. Using simple materials, young visitors will create artwork inspired by care, compassion, and connection—values that shape both our communities and our shared human story.

This hands-on experience encourages children to think about how their actions affect others, reinforcing the idea that even the smallest creative acts can leave a lasting impression. Through making, sharing, and reflecting, families are reminded that their stories—and their kindness—live here.
