Drisel Perez

Curator of History

Drisel entered the museum field in 2021 after a long career in community education. She studied history at the University of Texas at Arlington and received her master’s degree in history from California State University, Fullerton. In previous roles, she has worked with collections, digital archives, exhibits, and programming. As the Curator of History at the San Bernardino County Museum, Drisel’s goal is to continue to foster an atmosphere of excitement and inclusivity around the County’s history. In her spare time, she can be found visiting museums, bookstores, baking with her family, and hanging out with her two cats, Jack and Mia.
