In December, STEAM Saturdays celebrate the season with Winter Wonderland, a month of simple, hands-on winter-themed crafts designed especially for young learners and their families. Children can create delicate snowflakes, explore sensory play with DIY snow (baking soda and shaving cream), design an Ugly Sweater collage, and craft a cozy Winter Hat collage.

These age-appropriate activation activities encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and imaginative play in a welcoming museum environment. STEAM Saturdays offer families meaningful time to create together while sparking curiosity through hands-on discovery.

Activities take place during regular STEAM Lab hours and are included with general admission. Timed entry is in effect for the STEAM Lab, and wristbands are available at Guest Services.
