DESCRIPTION:The Victor Valley Museum is offering Quiet Hour at the museum from 10 to 11 a.m. on select Thursdays. This time is dedicated to creating a calmer\, quieter museum experience. We remain open to the public during this time\, and all are welcome to visit the museum. During this time\, specific exhibit features in the museum will be turned off to minimize audio and visual stimulation. We recommend an hour for your visit\, so you can fully enjoy the exhibits\, gardens\, and museum store.  All exhibits will be fully turned on at 11 a.m. Admission purchased during sensory-friendly quiet hours is the same as standard admission and applies to the entire day. The store will open at 10 a.m. on Quiet Hour mornings.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Cosmic Nights with the High Desert Astronomical Society (HiDAS) featuring telescope viewing. The event takes place outdoors\, weather permitting\, and guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Museum galleries will be open during the event. General admission is $10 (adult)\, $8 (military or senior)\, $7 (student)\, and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are free. Museum Foundation members receive a 50% discount on admission. Parking is free. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. Based at the Luz Observatory in Apple Valley\, HiDAS was formed to provide trained\, volunteer astronomers to operate and maintain the Center’s astronomical equipment. The evenings feature telescope viewing\, an opportunity to discuss astronomy with the telescope operators\, and visitors are also encouraged to bring binoculars or set up their own telescopes.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Cosmic Nights with the High Desert Astronomical Society (HiDAS) featuring telescope viewing. The event takes place outdoors\, weather permitting\, and guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Museum galleries will be open during the event. General admission is $10 (adult)\, $8 (military or senior)\, $7 (student)\, and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are free. Museum Foundation members receive a 50% discount on admission. Parking is free. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. Based at the Luz Observatory in Apple Valley\, HiDAS was formed to provide trained\, volunteer astronomers to operate and maintain the Center’s astronomical equipment. The evenings feature telescope viewing\, an opportunity to discuss astronomy with the telescope operators\, and visitors are also encouraged to bring binoculars or set up their own telescopes.
