DESCRIPTION:STEAM Summer | August 2026\nScientific Explorations\nSTEAM Summer in STEAM Lab\nEvery Saturday from 10–3 p.m. \nThis is a month for building\, shaping\, mixing\, and transforming—where children bring their ideas to life through hands-on art and design. \nJoin us Saturdays from 12–3 p.m. for a rotating series of creative experiences: \n\nAugust 1: Color Mixing\nAugust 8: Cyanotypes\nAugust 15: Clay Play\nAugust 22: Pop-Up Neighborhood\nAugust 29: Bead Snakes\n\nThroughout the month\, families can also take part in Scavenger Hunts every Saturday from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Complete a challenge and earn a prize while exploring the museum in new ways. \nSTEAM Lab Entry:\nTimed wristbands are required for STEAM Lab access and are available daily throughout the summer. Each wristband provides a 30-minute session\, supporting a comfortable and engaging creative environment. \nAugust is about expression—the freedom to make something from nothing\, to experiment without pressure\, and to leave with something uniquely your own. \nAdmission:• $10 adults• $8 military or seniors• $7 students• $5 children ages 6–12• Free for children five and under• Museum Foundation members receive 50% off admission \nParking is free\, and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
