DESCRIPTION:Join us on Feb. 10th for Second Saturdays to make “Acts of Kindness” Valentines. The key is to spread love and kindness beyond without focusing on giving or receiving material representations of that love. Families can enjoy on-site themed art projects every month through Second Saturdays at the Victor Valley Museum (VVM) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us on the second Saturday of each month for an exciting hands-on art workshop for the entire family. Themes change each month so be sure to visit the website for current details. Regular museum admission applies. General admission is $10 (adult)\, $8 (military or senior)\, $7 (student)\, and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Museum Foundation members and children five and under are free. Museum galleries will be open during the event. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities and parking is free.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, Feb. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. for an engaging and personal talk — with possible cameo appearances from their mother\, Hon. Cheryl Brown and sister\, Regina Brown-Wilson – Black Voice News curators\, Hardy Brown II and Paulette Brown-Hinds\, share some hard truths about the organization’s work as local government watchdogs but as recorders of Black life in the Inland Empire\, including profiles of leaders making a difference in communities across the region\, coverage of community events\, mapping community assets\, and reporting on the fight for social justice and racial equity.\n\nThe exhibit\, Power of the Press: Black Voice News @ 50\, currently on display at San Bernardino County Museum highlights not only the organization’s work as local government watchdogs but as recorders of Black life in the Inland Empire\, including profiles of leaders making a difference in communities across the region\, coverage of community events\, mapping community assets\, and reporting on the fight for social justice and racial equity. The exhibit officially closes Sunday\, April 28.\n\nThe San Bernardino County Museum is located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands.
