DESCRIPTION:Update: Due to the inclement weather forecasted this weekend\, we must cancel Cosmic Nights for this Friday\, Nov. 17th at the San Bernardino County Museum. News dates will be announced shortly!\n\nJoin us for Cosmic Nights with our partner\, the Riverside Astronomical Society\, featuring telescope viewing starting at 8pm. The event takes place outdoors\, weather permitting\, and guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.\n\nMuseum galleries will be open during the event. General admission is $10 (adult)\, $8 (military or senior)\, $7 (student)\, and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are free. Museum Association members receive a 50% discount on admission. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.\n\nThe Riverside Astronomical Society has a history of civic and educational support since its beginnings in 1957. The RAS owes its start to people who saw the need to promote a better awareness of astronomy to the general public. They also saw a need for a common forum for amateur astronomers to further develop and advance their hobby. These goals are still the cornerstone of the RAS’s mission.

Museum staff are passionate about activating their visitors’ senses with a physical product\, like slime\, to keep them mesmerized with this unforgettable (and slimy) experience with their family! Families can enjoy on-site themed art projects every month through Second Saturdays at the Victor Valley Museum (VVM) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us on the second Saturday of each month for an exciting hands-on art workshop for the entire family.
