The event takes place outdoors\, weather permitting\, and guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.\n\nMuseum galleries will be open during the event. General admission is $10 (adult)\, $8 (military or senior)\, $7 (student)\, and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under are free. Museum Association members receive a 50% discount on admission. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.\n\nThe Riverside Astronomical Society has a history of civic and educational support since its beginnings in 1957. The RAS owes its start to people who saw the need to promote a better awareness of astronomy to the general public. They also saw a need for a common forum for amateur astronomers to further develop and advance their hobby. These goals are still the cornerstone of the RAS’s mission.
